Global Tactical Metals made significant strides in 2024 to secure properties focused on antimony exploration. The acquisition of the St. Anthony Property in Newfoundland marks a strategic expansion of our portfolio, complementing our existing assets and reinforcing our commitment to domestically sourced tactical metals.
Our focus on antimony is driven by its critical importance to national defence and various industries. In 2024, antimony prices surged to record highs, reaching $38,000 USD per tonne, a 192% increase for the year. This price spike, coupled with China’s export restrictions, has intensified the global search for new antimony sources.
Our strategy aligns with the growing recognition of antimony as a critical mineral by several countries, including the US, Canada, and the EU. As global supply chain vulnerabilities escalate, our efforts to secure domestic antimony supplies are more crucial than ever.
Global Tactical Metals is committed to becoming a significant player in the antimony market, addressing the strategic needs of North American defence and industry sectors. By developing these properties, we aim to reduce reliance on foreign sources, particularly China, which currently dominates global antimony production.
Our focus on antimony exploration and development positions us at the forefront of a critical sector, with the potential to significantly impact North American strategic mineral independence.

The Darling Project
Our newly acquired project, aptly named the Darling Project, located just 300 kilometers east of Toronto in Darling Township, focuses on exploring critical minerals, with antimony being a primary target. Antimony’s strategic importance in industries such as renewable energy, defense, and electronics aligns with Global Tactical Metals’ commitment to supporting domestic resource development.
Strategically located only 300 kilometers east of Toronto, benefits from exceptional infrastructure, including reliable hydroelectric power, accessible road networks, and proximity to a highly skilled workforce.
Darling Township’s strategic location in Ontario makes it an attractive prospect for mineral exploration, particularly in relation to the United States. The township’s proximity to major U.S. markets enhances its potential as source of critical minerals, especially for antimony.
The region’s appeal for U.S.-focused mineral exploration is further bolstered by:
St Anthony Nickel Property
On October 25, 2022, the Company acquired 100% of the St. Anthony Nickel Property (located along the northeast coast of the Great Northern Peninsula, White Bay District of Newfoundland). Very limited historical work had been done within the current boundaries of the St. Anthony Property. Primary focus of prior exploration was based on historic lake sediment sampling completed by the Newfoundland Geological Survey.

Infrastructure and Transportation
Accessible road networks are another key asset, facilitating efficient transportation to U.S. markets and beyond. Major highways link the project site to important industrial hubs in both Canada and the United States, ensuring a steady flow of equipment, supplies, and skilled personnel.
Skilled workforce
The area’s proximity to a highly skilled U.S. and Canadian workforce provides a significant advantage for Global Defense Metals. Local communities on both sides of the border boast experienced geologists, mining engineers, and specialized technicians—many of whom have spent decades in resource exploration and extraction.

Geological potential
The Robertson Lake Mylonite Zone (RLMZ) holds the key to significant exploration opportunities. Geological studies and field surveys have recorded promising indications of antimony, gold, copper, and silver in this area.
Expanding claims
GTM’s recent expansion to over 1,400 hectares of claims in Darling Township is a clear sign of the Company’s commitment to critical defence minerals. By acquiring additional contiguous land, the company ensures a broader search area for high-grade antimony and other critical minerals. A larger claim footprint also enhances logistical efficiency, making it simpler to plan exploration programs and potentially develop multiple deposits under one operational framework.

These factors position Darling Township as a highly strategic location for mineral exploration, offering a unique combination of geological richness, accessible infrastructure, and proximity to skilled labor. With a focus on extracting critical resources like antimony, the region could play a vital role in supporting the U.S. market’s growing demand for materials essential to defence, energy, and technology industries. If the Company is able to explore and develop resources locally, the project has the potential to significantly reduce reliance on foreign imports, strengthening North America’s supply chain and enhancing its economic and strategic independence
